چکیده

We applied unidirectional MLC test to skin allografts in dogs, and examined the correlation between the strength of the MLC reaction and the survival time of skin allografts. As a result it was found that the skin allografts was rejected within 10 days when the rate of blastformation was more than 18 %. In contrast, the skin graft survived over 13 days when the rate was less than 15 %. The rate of blastformation was inversely correlated with the median survival time of skin allograft. ∗PMID: 4258716 [PubMed indexed for MEDLINE] Copyright c ©OKAYAMA UNIVERSITY MEDICAL SCHOOL Acta Med. Tissue typing by unidirectional mixed lymphocyte culture. 3. The relationship of in vitro lymphocyte compatibility to renal allograft rejection.

We applied unidirectional MLC test to renal allograft in dogs, and investigated the correlation between the growth rates of MLC reaction and the intensity of rejection of the kidney transplants or the postoperative renal function. It was concluded that the grade of rejection became three plus (+ + +) when the rate of blastformation was more than 18 %, while it became one plus when the rate was ...

Correlation between bioassayed plasma levels of FK 506 and lymphocyte growth from liver transplant biopsies with histological evidence of rejection.

FK 506, a novel immunosuppressive agent, was first used to reverse rejection in liver recipients who had failed to respond to conventional therapy.' The successful outcome of the initial study has led to clinical trials of FK 506 as the primary immunosuppressive agent for liver allografts and other organ transplants. 2-4 Ongoing studies include dosage protocols for optimal immunosuppression wit...

Tissue typing by mixed culture of lymphocytes. 3. Demonstration of correlation between the rate of blastformation in mixed lymphocyte culture of dog peripheral blood and the intensity of kidney-transplant rejection.

1) It has been found that the peripheral blood of hybrid adult dogs contains about 29.4 % of lymphocytes in average. When such a blood is passed through the glass wool column the leucocytes containing 68-90 % (81.6% in average) lymphocytes are obtained. 2) In the single culture of such lymphocytes alone and mixed culture both live lymphocytes and sonicated lymphocytes in the presence of 1% (vIv...

Effect of low dose X-irradiation on alloantigen sensitized and unsensitized lymphocytes.

The effect of local graft irradiation on' immune response in allograft in which acute rejection occurs was studied using an in vitro model. Unidirectional mixed lymphocyte culture (MLC) was used as the in vitro model of acute rejection.· 150 and 300 rad x-irradiation suppressed mixed lymphocyte reaction (MLR) but did not cell-mediated-lympholysis (CML) of unsensitized lymphocytes. X-irradiated ...

Rejection monitoring by lymphocyte blastogenesis assay in canine lung allotransplantation.

Seventy-seven adult mongrel dogs underwent left lung transplantation to study the immunological detection of posttransplant rejection response using the lymphocyte blastogenesis assay. Experimental animals were divied into 3 groups; control autotransplantation (4 dogs), control allotransplantation (32 dogs) and immunosuppressed allotransplantation (41 dogs). The lymphocyte blastogenesis assay i...
